Armstrong Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Kittanning, PA, seeks a Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe and welcoming. You will perform routine maintenance on elevators, plumbing, and electrical systems, and support daily operations.

This role requires a high school diploma, 1+ years in a similar role, and the ability to lift and move equipment. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to respond to patient requests and maintain a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

Maintenance Assistant

  • Responding promptly to patient requests and concerns
  • Maintaining a clean and organized facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our patients and staff
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure effective communication and problem-solving
• Maintain accurate records and reports, including:
  • Tracking and documenting maintenance activities and repairs
  • Reporting any issues or concerns to the maintenance supervisor
