Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care at The Lumiere of Chesterfield is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the maintenance team and help keep a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

You will address electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and cooling tasks, maintain cleanliness and order, and assist in enforcing building codes and regulations to ensure a sanitary, well-kept facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
• Maintain the facility to be sanitary, attractive, and in good repair; address hazards in electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling systems.

• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
