Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center in Bon Air, VA, is seeking a full-time Maintenance position to support the Life Safety Code compliance and the upkeep of our skilled nursing facility. You will help manage the physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role offers on-site shifts (days) with wage rates of $22.00 to $27.00 per hour. We provide comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and growth opportunities through education and leadership programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring Life Safety Code compliance and safe facility operations.
• Maintain the physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities in good working order.
• Follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies and uphold the community's policies and procedures.

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Maintenance Director in ensuring the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.
