Job Overview

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our senior living team in Bloomington, MN. This position will monitor preventative maintenance programs and repair building systems and equipment. The Maintenance Assistant will also train other building staff, as needed, on basic troubleshooting of building systems and equipment. The maintenance schedule includes:

• 48 hours every two weeks
• Day shift
• Every fourth weekend
• Benefits package

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and ensure safety awareness
• Communicate effectively with tenants, staff, vendors, visitors, and supervisors
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Respond to tenant, visitor, and staff medical emergencies in accordance with facility guidelines

Minimum Requirements

• Current Driver’s License in good standing
• Experience with mechanical (HVAC), plumbing, and electrical systems
• One to three years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED
