Niagara Bottling in Allentown, PA is offering a full-time Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (MAP) starting June 2027. Apprentices learn to perform preventative maintenance and rebuild industrial equipment through formal training and on-the-job experience.

Pay rate starts at $31.00/hr, with a comprehensive benefits package. The program develops Maintenance Technicians via structured training, safety-first culture, and hands-on instruction in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 2 Years – Experience in Maintenance or similar manufacturing environment.
• 30% of travel may be required.
• 4 Years – Experience in Maintenance or similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and Vocational Technician education.
• Ability to understand and do math, geometry and measuring using a ruler and caliper.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Ability to read blueprints & schematics.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and learn from Operators, Preventative Maintenance Mechanics, Maintenance Technicians, and Sr. Maintenance Technicians.
• Perform scheduled PM's on machinery as needed.
• Assist with maintenance projects & machine rebuilds.
• Assist with downed equipment repair during the production shift as needed.
• Research and documentation using a computer.
• Work safely & follow the written procedures to do so.

Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (full-time paid) - Allentown, PA

Starting June 2027!

The Maintenance Apprentice position is part of the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (MAP), which is designed to develop Maintenance Technicians for Niagara Bottling’s Maintenance department. A Maintenance Apprentice will learn the skills necessary to act as a Maintenance Technician through a combination of formal classroom training and on‑job training. Participants will specifically learn how to perform preventative maintenance, rebuild industrial machinery and troubleshooting techniques on all manufacturing equipment.

Pay Rate: $31.00/hr

Essential Functions

• Shadow and learn from Operators, Preventative Maintenance Mechanics, Maintenance Technicians, and Sr. Maintenance Technicians

• Attend OEM trainings and apply learnings upon returning to the plant (at plant’s discretion).
• Perform on-demand maintenance and repair of equipment in the manufacturing facility
• Complete daily responsibilities assigned by the assigned direct supervisor.
• Explain and demonstrate accomplishment of the learning objectives for each learning activity in both theory and practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications:
