Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice in Conyers, GA. This entry-level, multi-craft role supports journey-level technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment while enrolled in a related post-secondary or technical program.

The apprentice works under the Maintenance Manager, performing preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and basic trades support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institute or technical school during the apprenticeship period.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, conveyors, and other facility equipment.
• Assist installation and repair of machines; learn to troubleshoot PLCs and drives (A/C and D/C).
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to perform repairs.
• Assist with plant inspections and basic maintenance in plumbing, carpentry, welding, and electrical trades.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and wear required PPE.
• Accurately complete work orders and daily maintenance paperwork via maintenance software systems.
• Availability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts and weekends as needed.
