Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice in Saint Petersburg, FL. Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, you will receive on-the-job training to repair, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers, and operate wastewater treatment systems.

This training position prepares you for advancement upon program completion. You will perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping, follow health and safety policies, and develop

Qualifications

• Read and understand maintenance literature in English.
• Basic mechanical knowledge demonstrated by maintenance background.
• Able to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8-hour shift.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Learn to repair and maintain industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Install and troubleshoot equipment (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Learn proper operation of wastewater treatment systems.
• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping and follow health and safety policies.
