Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• One year of technical background or experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to submit to a panel interview process.
• Ability to attend and maintain acceptable passing grades at Ivy Tech or another approved technical school.
• Follow safety rules and procedures.
• Must stay current on applicable compliance and skills trainings.

Responsibilities

• Will be required to complete training.
• Will be required to enroll and attend classes at Ivy Tech Community College or another approved school as part of the Apprenticeship program.
• Must complete schooling in accordance with approved schedule of classes.
• Grades must be submitted to the HR department at completion of each course.
• May be required to change shifts or work overtime.
• May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.
