Job summary

Christensen Farms is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Technician to perform priority repairs, maintenance, and project work across our farms and facilities. You will collaborate with production and repair staff to maximize quality and productivity in a timely manner.

The role emphasizes mechanical tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, and steel repair, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability. A valid MVR review is required for employment consideration.

Qualifications

• The worker must have the visual ability to perform activities such as operating machines and performing skilled non-repetitive tasks.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle and comply with MVR review for insurability.

Responsibilities

• Execute priority repairs as assigned.

• Provide labor for or lead other projects.

The Maintenance and Reliability Technician will perform priority repairs and maintenance in a timely and efficient manner, complete scheduled projects to timeline and quality standards, and effectively work with production and other repair staff to maximize quality of work and productivity of department.

Major Areas of Accountability:

• Priority Repairs
  • Execute priority repairs as assigned
• Technical Repair
  • Repair equipment specific to CFF and it's producers
• Non-priority Repair
  • Perform scheduled repairs to company quality and cost standards
  • Provide service and labor for farm group
  • Perform general carpentry, plumbing, and steel repair
• Other Projects
  • Provide labor for or lead other projects
• Asset Maintenance Program
  • Execute maintenance procedures on assigned farms.
• Seasonal Equipment Preparation
  • Prepare equipment for use
  • Maintain and properly store equipment not in use.

Additional requirements:

• The worker is required to have the visual ability to perform an activity such as: operates machines, such as lathes, drill presses, power saws, and mills where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performs mechanical or skilled tasks of a non-repetitive nature, such as carpenter, technicians, service people, plumbers, painters, mechanics, etc.

• This position will require operating a company vehicle or regular mileage reimbursement. Any employment offer extended for this position will be is contingent upon the review of the candidate's motor vehicle record (MVR). The MVR will be reviewed to determine insurability based on CF's insurance carrier and company policy.

• The targeted base pay range for this role is $22-29 per hour with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills, and experience.
