Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking a Maintenance and PM Technician to perform maintenance and preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, and related equipment at St. Joseph's Hospital. The role includes minor electrical and plumbing repairs, and work on generators and pumps.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least two years of maintenance experience, with a physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Night shifts are indicated and a 40-hour workweek applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years experience in general and preventative maintenance work.
• Prefer 7G Pesticide License is desired.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains and repairs boilers, chillers, and associated pumps and equipment.
• Performs minor electrical and plumbing repairs without supervision.
• Assists in repairs of air, steam, water, gas and oil line systems.
• Maintains laundry equipment throughout Hospital complex.
• Replaces call cords and repairs door closers for Hospital patient rooms.
