Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead an hourly manufacturing team, organize workflow, and meet quality and daily productivity targets.

You will coach on standardized work, ensure safety, and drive high performance through servant leadership while building strong relations with union and management.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

The Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Production Supervisors are:

What you'll do...
  • Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
  • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
  • Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
You'll have...
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends

  • Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers

  • Basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720 - $162,120.
