Job summary

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for our facilities in Michigan. You will manage maintenance staff and contractors, plan and schedule PM activities, and ensure on-time, on-budget execution while coordinating purchasing and inventory of chemicals and parts.

The role requires an Associate degree or higher, 4+ years in maintenance/project execution with supervisory experience, and familiarity with CMMS and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance and/or project execution experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Manage Maintenance Employees/Contractors and all repair/preventive maintenance.
• Provide maintenance planning and scheduling to optimize resources.
• Ensure maintenance activities stay on time and within budget.
• Oversee purchasing, receiving, warehousing and inventory of chemicals and spare parts.

Job Description

Role Summary

• Manage Maintenance Employees/Contractors and all aspects of repair/preventative maintenance
• Support plant operations by providing maintenance planning and scheduling to make effective use of company and contractor resources
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed on time and on budget
• Manage all aspects of purchasing, receiving, warehousing and inventory of chemicals, expendables and spare parts

Responsibilities

• Manage Chemical, Expendable, and Spare Part inventories, purchasing and receiving
• Work with Operations to coordinate receiving of chemicals
• Obtain quotes and acquire materials, equipment, and services
• Manage Maintenance Employees and Contractors
• Plan, Schedule, and Execute Maintenance (PM and Daily) Activities
• Work with Purchasing and others to issue Purchase Orders, perform goods receipt and track budgets

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher (two-year college or technical school)
• Minimum 4-years of maintenance and/or project execution experience, preferably in Chemical Manufacturing
• At least one-year supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of CMMS and Inventory Management Software
