We are seeking an experienced technician to transition from the field into a fully remote support role, leveraging your expertise to guide our field technicians.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance and Construction Support Specialist, you will assist field technicians by providing expert advice and guidance on various projects. Your role involves helping them complete work orders and resolve technical issues in the field. This position is ideal for someone with extensive hands-on experience in skilled trades who wishes to transition out of the field but continue utilizing their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide day-to-day technical support to field technicians, guiding them through project requirements and troubleshooting as needed. Assist with complex tasks in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, HVAC/R, and roofing.
• Project Guidance & Troubleshooting: Offer expert advice on work orders, ensuring efficient and accurate project completion. Help field techs overcome obstacles encountered during work.
• Communication & Coordination: Clearly explain technical tasks and solutions, maintaining effective communication and collaboration with the field team and internal departments.

Position Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in maintenance and construction trades (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Mechanical, HVAC/R, Roofing)
• Self-Sufficiency: Ability to perform independently with minimal guidance
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills to explain complex technical tasks
• Technology Comfort: Proficiency with phones, laptops, and support tools
• Problem-Solving: Strong abilities to address technical challenges
• Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and coordinate projects remotely
