Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Aide to perform a variety of skilled duties in building trades, including carpentry, painting, minor electrical, and related tasks to maintain and repair our facilities. The role requires hands-on work, assisting with installation, maintenance, and construction of roofs, furniture, fixtures, and refinishing walls; five years of healthcare maintenance experience is preferred.

Union pay rate of $27.02 per hour applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of healthcare maintenance experience.
• Experience in basic building trades such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Assist and perform semiskilled tasks in maintenance, repair, and construction for facility upkeep.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and construction work in basic trades (carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet).
• Assist with construction, installation, and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, boards, and other structures.
• Prepare and paint walls and woodwork; refinish as needed; install or repair carpet; perform custodial duties.
• G46 Certified
• Min. 5 years exp. (Healthcare setting)

Job Description

Performs variety of skilled duties in a building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Cbuilding
• Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics
• Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, marker boards/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items
• Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet; performs custodial duties as required
• G46 Certified
• Min. 5 years exp. (Healthcare setting)

Pay Rate: Union Pay rate $27.02 an hour
