Job summary

CareRite Centers, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Aide to perform a variety of skilled duties in building trades, including painting, carpentry, minor electrical, and other crafts for upkeep of the facility. The role involves daily inspections, semi-skilled tasks, installations, and maintenance across roofing, furniture, carpentry, and grounds keeping.

The candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, with opportunities to perform custodial duties and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Must have 2 years experience with the duties listed above.
• Ability to perform semi-skilled tasks in building maintenance.
• Experience in carpentry/painting/electrical/plumbing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance of the building exterior/interior.
• Assist and perform semiskilled tasks related to maintenance, repair, and construction.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in basic building trades such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics.
• Assist in construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, marker/chalk boards, and various structures.
• Perform general grounds keeping daily; inspect distribution center areas and keep disposal areas clean and safe.
• Prepare and paint walls/woodwork or refinish; install/repair carpet; perform custodial duties as required.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance schedules and MSDS sheets.
• May conduct weekly safety checks to ensure a safe, clean environment for patrons.

Job Description:

• Performs variety of skilled duties in a building trades, such as painting, carpentry, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior

• Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair and construction tasks in the upkeep of the Cbuilding

• Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanics

• Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, marker boards/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items

• Perform general grounds keeping on a daily basis; inspect outside of Distribution Center areas, insure disposal areas are kept clean and in a safe condition

• Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet; performs custodial duties as required

• Maintains accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, and MSDS sheets.

• May perform weekly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for the patrons of the facility and to eliminate all hazards

Qualifications/Requirements:

MUST HAVE 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH THE DUTIES LISTED ABOVE.
