Job summary

A global technology company is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician in Ironton, Ohio. Qualifications

  • 1 to 5 years’ experience preferred.
  • Must pass Maintenance A test with a 70% or better score.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventative, Predictive, and Repair maintenance on production equipment.
  • Aid in the installation or relocation of equipment.
  • Work shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety rules.

Skills

Proficient in hydraulic systems
Proficient in pneumatic systems
Proficient in electrical systems
Siemens CNC and/or PLC automation background
Welding equipment proficiency (acetylene torch, stick, MIG)
Computer skills for accessing work orders
Rigging and lifting knowledge

Education

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent

Job description

Job Responsibilities

Required to perform Preventative, Predictive, and Repair maintenance on, but not limited to, production equipment, facility equipment, buildings, and grounds. These tasks are to be performed using appropriate documents and/or tools.

Required to aid in the installation or relocation of equipment.

Required to work any shift, weekends, shutdowns, and overtime when needed.

May be required to do other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.

Required to adhere to all safety rules.

Special requirements
  • Must pass Maintenance A test with a 70% or better score.
  • Required to maintain regular attendance and can work in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated.
Machines and Equipment Involved
  • Required to use, and be proficient with, a Multi-Meter, oscilloscope preferred, and other electrical measuring devices when needed.
  • Required to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics and diagrams.
  • Depending on operation, will use any or all, but not limited to, welding tools including MIG, arc, gas brazing and diagnostic equipment.
Educational Requirements

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Qualifications (skills, work experience)
  • 1 to 5 years’ experience preferred.
  • Siemens CNC and/or PLC automation background preferred.
  • Required to use, and be proficient with, welding equipment acetylene torch, stick, and MIG-wire welder when needed.
  • Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems with a proven mechanical ability.
  • Proficient in using a computer for accessing and entering work orders.
  • Rigging and lifting knowledge a plus.
