Job summary

McDonald’s franchise restaurant is seeking a Maintenance Person who will keep the store clean, safe, organized, and operating properly. The role supports the restaurant team with hands-on cleaning, equipment care, and general maintenance tasks.

Ideal candidates are dependable, able to work independently, and follow safety procedures. Training and opportunities for advancement are available within the franchise system.

• Maintains the cleanliness and condition of the restaurant, equipment, and surrounding property.
• Filtering fryer oil as required.
• Maintaining exterior grounds and parking areas.
• Cleaning restaurant equipment.
• Cleaning interior and exterior windows.
• Cleaning stock rooms and restrooms.
• Supporting general restaurant cleanliness.
• Unloading delivery trucks.
• Removing trash and operating the trash compactor.
• Replacing light bulbs.
• Cleaning HVAC and exhaust areas.
• Removing debris from designated roof areas.
• Identifying maintenance or equipment concerns and communicating them to management.
• Assisting with other cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.

About the Position

This position is with an independently owned and operated McDonald’s franchise restaurant. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA and is solely responsible for employment matters at this restaurant, including hiring, discipline, supervision, staffing, scheduling, and termination.
