Position Summary

Perform all duties of the Maintenance Position, along with electrical maintenance with primary objective being the overall maintenance of all machinery, equipment and facilities. Proficient in areas dealing with installs and repairs to electrical systems, apparatus, electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment. Intermediate boiler knowledge with the ability to maintain boiler, piping, supporting electrical systems and surrounding physical structures. This position also delivers on our core focus of:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Scheduled and preventative maintenance on equipment and building
  • Ability to read electrical; hydraulic and pneumatic schematics as necessary
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
  • Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment
  • Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables
  • Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards
  • Observes mechanical device in operation and listens to their sounds to identify the location of their problems
  • Dismantles and reassembles equipment that is in need of repair
  • Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
  • Assists others on their machines as needed
  • Act as a liaison with vendors when necessary
  • Sets up machinery, makes the necessary adjustments and monitors the equipment to be sure it is running efficiently and effectively
  • Emergency, scheduled, minor and preventative maintenance or all machines and building
  • Observes all safety policies and procedures including LOTO
  • Ability to work in excess of 40 hours, as business needs arise
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Any other task or duty that is deemed necessary by management.

  • Use hands to finger, handle, or for fine manipulations; feel and talk or hear
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach with hands and arm’s length, climb or balance and twist, stoop, kneel, use repetitive foot movement, crouch, and crawl
  • Ability to regularly lift up to20 lbs. frequently20-35 lbs. occasionally, more than 35 lbs. rarely, over 50 lbs. requires team or mechanical assistance
  • Specific vision requirements required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
