Job summary

McDonald's Restaurants Limited is seeking a Maintenance Person to join our restaurant team. You will help maintain interior and exterior cleanliness and ensure restaurant equipment is well maintained.

You will work as part of the Maintenance Team to support operations and provide a clean, safe guest experience. Responsibilities include daily oil fryer filtering, grounds upkeep, cleaning equipment and facilities, unloading deliveries, waste handling, and light maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Ability to operate and assist with general maintenance tasks as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow safety and sanitation guidelines to keep the restaurant in compliance.

Responsibilities

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris
• Support management in achieving clean and well-maintained restaurant facilities

Job description

Requirements:

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
