Job summary

NAPCO Precast SA in San Antonio, TX is seeking a concrete finisher to smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete such as floors, walls, double Ts, columns, and beams using a variety of hand and power tools.

The role requires physical endurance for outdoor work in heat or cold, lifting up to 30 lbs, and the ability to stand 8–12 hours per shift. Candidates must pass safety fit tests and pulmonary function assessments as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and work outdoors in heat or cold.
• Able to stand for 8–12 hour shifts.
• Pass fit test and pulmonary function test for respiratory protection.

Responsibilities

• Finish surfaces of poured concrete using hand and power tools.
• Rub cement in with sponge-rubber float or burlap.
• Patch holes/cracks in concrete walls.
• Remove/clean excess concrete from walls and floors.
• Use grinders on blemishes and imperfections.
• Cut concrete as indicated on repair orders.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.75 Hourly

Summary

Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walls, double Ts, columns, or beams using a variety of hand and power tools.

Primary Responsibilities

• Rub cement in with sponge-rubber float or burlap.
• Finish corners by hand
• Patch holes/cracks on concrete walls
• Remove/Clean excess concrete from the walls
• Use grinders on blemishes
• Drill or Core drill holes as needed
• Clean all hardware
• Cut concrete as indicated on repair orders
• Climb stacks of walls and TTs

Qualifications: Physical Requirements

• The ability to lift, bend, stoop, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs
• Be on feet 8 to 12 hour shifts
• Work outside all day in heat or cold
• Push and pull 30 lbs.
• Work overtime and mandatory Saturdays when scheduled
• Must be clean shaven to wear a face mask or respiratory
• Pass fit test (mask fits properly & protects adequately) & pulmonary function test (evaluate function of lungs)
