This role of NCF Maintenance is to be responsible for the safest, most efficient, cost effective means of operation and maintenance of our assets. Skills used on a daily basis include (but are not limited to) PLC programming/troubleshooting, AC/DC Drive programming/troubleshooting, general maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment, machining and fabrication of equipment. This is a rotating shift position which includes nights, weekends, emergency overtime and holidays. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
