Job summary

McDonald’s Restaurants Limited is seeking a Maintenance Person to help keep interior and exterior areas clean and equipment in good working order at our Lancaster location. You will be part of the maintenance team and will have access to tools and training to succeed.

The role includes responsibilities such as filtering oil fryers, maintaining the outside grounds, cleaning equipment and facilities, unloading deliveries, removing trash, changing light bulbs, and cleaning HVAC/exhaust units.

Qualifications

• The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment.
• The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: filtration of oil fryers, grounds maintenance, cleaning, unloading deliveries, trash disposal, changing light bulbs, and cleaning HVAC/exhaust units.

Requirements:

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash compactor
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris

Physical Requirements Include but are not limited to

• Lifting & carrying 40lbs
• Asisst others in Lifting and carrying over 40lbs
• Standing entirety of your shift
• Climbing Ladders
• Working in Freezer and Refrigerator Temperatures for extended periods of time.
