Job summary

Richmark Properties Inc. is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at a multifamily apartment community in Houston, TX. You will handle daily maintenance tasks, unit turns, and pool upkeep, ensuring the property remains well-maintained and safe.

The role requires at least 1 year of on-site experience and owning your own tools. HVAC/EPA certification is preferred, and you should be prepared for on-call rotations and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of on-site maintenance experience (assistant tech, make-ready or painter).
• Must provide own tools for maintenance and repair work.
• HVAC/EPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with make-ready preparation of vacant units.
• Maintain pool cleanliness and equipment functionality.
• Ensure grounds and common areas are kept clean and presentable.
• On-call rotation and weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with make-ready preparation of vacant units
• Maintain pool cleanliness and equipment functionality
• Ensure grounds and common areas are kept clean and presentable
• Comply with federal Fair Housing laws, and all local laws and ordinances
• On-call rotation and weekend availability
