Job summary

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Atkinson is seeking a maintenance professional to manage preventive maintenance across guest rooms and hotel systems. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC/PTAC, pool and equipment, and assisting other departments to keep hotel operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of guest rooms, equipment, and supplies, including HVAC/PTAC, vacuums, ice machines, TVs, washers/dryers, water heaters, sprinkler systems, swimming pool, and case goods/cabinets.
• Maintain the swimming pool and whirlpool according to local health department and franchise standards.
• Perform all specific repairs unless a general contractor is needed and approved by management.
• Provide assistance to all other departments as needed.
• Be on call at all times in case of emergency.
• Operate basic maintenance tools.
• Read and follow instructions.
• Run errands for hotel.
• Adhere to strict key control policies.
• Keep accurate records of all preventive maintenance.
• Perform outdoor lawn and snow services as needed.

EXPERIENCE

DRESS CODE

Maintenance uniform including name tag.

PHYSICAL

Requires the ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to drive a vehicle and have good communication skills. Must be able to help out in an emergency situation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Preventive Maintenance of all guest rooms, equipment, and supplies. This includes, but is not limited to:
   1. HVAC and PTAC
   2. Vacuums
   3. Ice Machines
   4. TV's
   5. Washers and dryers
   6. Water heaters
   7. Sprinkler Systems
   8. Swimming Pool
   9. Case goods and cabinets
