Job summary

Sandhurst Apartment Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role in Wilmington, NC. You will perform on-site maintenance tasks, prepare apartments for move-in, and report issues to the supervisor while upholding safety and company standards.

Essential Functions:

• Understand and follow proper safety procedures for company and community, including maintaining cleanliness and protection of work spaces
• Uphold all company policies, goals, and values
• Perform on-site maintenance functions
• Assist supervisor in completing assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner
• Make available apartments ready for move-in
• Report any maintenance problems to the supervisor
• Participate in an ongoing community maintenance and improvement plan
• Maintain physical condition of the community
• Follow-up on service requests to assure the highest quality customer satisfaction
• Assist in the achievement of the community's annual budget plan by controlling expenses
• Perform other responsibilities falling under the maintenance technician role as directed

Qualifications:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical school preferred)
• Be HVAC certified
• Hold CPO certification
• Possess general knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service
• Have one year's experience in maintenance (apartment maintenance preferred)
• Be able to work weekends, after hours, and/or holidays
