Job summary

Frontier Rigging & Movers is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Employee to perform maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment-related work at industrial plants and manufacturing facilities.

The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical skills and experience with industrial equipment, with the ability to safely perform maintenance tasks in a plant environment. Candidates may assist with installation, welding, and electrical troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial lift experience is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts when required by the customer.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment.
• Repair, replace, and adjust mechanical components.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and other maintenance equipment.
• Assist with equipment installation, relocation, and alignment.
• Read and follow equipment manuals, drawings, and basic blueprints.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication when qualified.
• Assist with electrical troubleshooting and basic electrical maintenance when properly trained and authorized.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all customer and company safety procedures, including PPE and lockout/tagout requirements.
• Work safely around forklifts, cranes, elevated work areas, production machinery, and other industrial equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and plant personnel.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to:

• Lift and handle tools and mechanical components.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined or elevated areas.
• Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear.
• Safely perform physically demanding maintenance tasks.
