Job summary

Willow Brook Christian Communities in Delaware, Ohio is seeking an experienced maintenance professional for a full-time role in our senior living campus. You will perform hands-on tasks to keep homes safe, clean, and well-maintained for residents.

Responsibilities include basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry, painting, remodeling, snow removal, completing maintenance requests, and assisting residents with maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in building upkeep, including basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry work.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to lift and move furniture and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks.
• Move and lift furniture and remodel as needed for move-ins.
• Prepare homes for move-in and assist with snow removal and exterior cleaning.
• Complete maintenance requests submitted by residents and address maintenance needs.
• Provide safe, clean, and well-maintained environments for residents.
• Participate in background checks and drug testing as required.
• Provide professional references upon request.

Job description

Willow Brook Run seeks an experienced maintenance professional for a full-time position working in our highly regarded senior living community. This qualified individual will perform hands-on maintenance tasks to provide a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for our residents.

Tasks of this position may include (but are not limited to) performing basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry duties, lifting and removing furniture, preparing homes for move-in (painting, remodeling), assisting with snow removal and surface preparation, completing maintenance requests submitted by residents, ensuring cleanliness of home exteriors, and assisting residents with any other maintenance needs. Qualified applicants should have proven maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry), the ability to organize and complete tasks in a neat and efficient manner, the ability to lift and move furniture and other objects, the ability to work without close supervision, and good communication skills. As with all Willow Brook positions, a criminal background check, work physical, and drug test will be conducted. Professional references required.
