Job summary

McDonald’s Restaurants Limited is seeking a Maintenance Person to support restaurant cleanliness and equipment upkeep at a location in New York. You will perform daily maintenance tasks and assist with general facility care within a fast-paced dining environment.

The role includes duties such as cleaning fryers, restrooms, and machinery, maintaining outdoor areas, unloading deliveries, and ensuring light and HVAC systems are kept in good condition. Training is provided by the franchisee.

Qualifications

• The candidate should perform general maintenance tasks and help keep the restaurant clean and safe.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a maintenance team.
• Comfort with physical tasks and routine facility checks.

Responsibilities

• Filter oil fryers daily and maintain kitchen equipment hygiene.
• Clean restrooms and restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain outside grounds and stock rooms; unload deliveries twice weekly.
• Take out trash and change light bulbs to ensure proper lighting.
• Clean HVAC/exhaust units and roof area from debris.

Description:

The Maintenance Person’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Filtering oil fryers daily
• Clean Restroom
• Maintaining outside grounds
• Clean equipment, inside and outside windows, stock rooms and restrooms
• Unload delivery truck 2 times a week
• Take out and empty trash
• Change light bulbs
• Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and roof of debris

Requirements:

The Maintenance Person assists management in achieving and maintaining outstanding interior and exterior restaurant cleanliness and maintaining restaurant equipment. As a member of the Maintenance Team, your restaurant will support you with the tools and training needed to succeed.
