Job summary

The Diocese of Green Bay / National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion is seeking a dedicated Maintenance worker to care for buildings and grounds. You will perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance to keep church properties safe, functional, and welcoming for worship and community events.

Requirements include 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to use hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience.
• Must be 21+ years old due to driving requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Mechanical skills and use of hand/power tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Commitment to OSHA Safety and Health rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure properties are safe, functional and welcoming.

Providing maintenance in the care and maintenance of buildings and grounds for the National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion and assuring the grounds are pleasant and in safe operating condition.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented, minor maintenance, and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to take direction and on the job training.
