Job summary

Kelly Services in Columbus, GA is seeking a skilled Plant/Maintenance Engineering Technician to work the NIGHT SHIFT (7 PM–7 AM). This TEMP TO HIRE, long-term contract offers full benefits including health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO and paid holidays.

You will service, repair, and calibrate complex electrical and electronic systems, troubleshoot with manuals and drawings, and support plant reliability and safety through preventive maintenance. U.S. citizenship is required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plant/Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and calibrating complex electronic and electrical systems critical to our operations. You will work with a wide range of equipment and be an essential contributor to our plant’s operational reliability and safety.

Responsibilities:

Repair, service, and calibrate complex electronic and electrical systems (including hardwired and computerized controls, power distribution, instrumentation, and other electrical/electronic equipment).
Troubleshoot equipment using drawings, service manuals when available, and operator descriptions of equipment behavior.
Test and repair equipment that comprises electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
Use test instruments such as oscilloscopes, recorders, and digital measuring equipment to identify faulty circuits and resolve issues.
Replace or substitute devices such as amplifiers, logic cards, memory units, feedback devices, high voltage switches, printed circuit boards, and perform necessary adjustments.
Perform related duties as needed to support business operations.
Demonstrate a commitment to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and continuous improvement programs by following all policies and procedures, completing required training, and participating in committee activities.
