Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) professional to monitor and coordinate sortie generation, maintenance production, and maintenance schedules while ensuring fleet health visibility. You will relay priorities for competing resources and ensure proper reporting with Operations and Maintenance teams.

The role requires handling status of aircraft, equipment, and systems, including ETIC, across all maintenance phases.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (US citizenship required).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) activities, including sortie generation and maintenance production.
  • Relay priorities for limited resources based on operation schedules and maintenance priorities.
  • Communicate with Operations and Maintenance to ensure reporting requirements and address potential problems.
  • Monitor aircraft, equipment, and system status, including ETIC, progress, and location during all maintenance phases.

Job description

  • Maintenance Operations Center (MOC). The MOC monitors and coordinates sortie generation, maintenance production, and execution of the operations and maintenance schedules while maintaining visibility of fleet health indicators.
  • Through coordination with agencies, maintenance, and operations, the MOC relays priorities for competing limited resources based on the operation schedules and maintenance priorities.
  • The MOC communicates between Operations and Maintenance in sufficient detail to allow the MOC to comply with reporting requirements and to communicate potential problems.
  • Monitors and reports the status of aircraft, equipment, and systems as directed including ETIC, progress, and location at all times on and off station during every phase of maintenance and operations.
  • Relay priorities to maintenance and verify aircraft, equipment, and systems status and ETIC's to ensure they are properly documented.
  • Utilize the Government and Contractor databases to ensure accuracy and proper reporting.
  • Coordinate maintenance on aircraft and routing changes to the operations schedule with applicable agencies.
  • Ensure all deviations to the daily operations schedule are input and accurately reported and use databases systems to ensure accurate aircraft status, configuration, and timeline.
  • Request support services, coordinate on all aircraft engine runs and all aircraft ground movements conducted by maintenance personnel prior to execution.
  • Develop, coordinate, implement, and maintain functional and emergency action checklists.
  • Participate in the Data Integrity Team (DIT). Notifies appropriate agencies using checklists.
  • Comply with all Security Program guidelines.
  • Shall perform other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to work, days, swings, nights, and/or weekend shifts as required.
  • Travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or a GED is required.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Software and computer systems.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance: Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
  • Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of working in an exceptionally dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient with Government and Contractor databases and information systems is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating activities among multiple agencies in a dynamic, fast-paced operational environment is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records and reports.
Compensation & Benefits

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $39.14
