Job summary

Crain Kia of Sherwood is seeking an experienced Mainline Service Technician to join our growing service department in Arkansas. Kia experience is preferred but not required; strong diagnostic and repair skills are essential to delivering quality repairs and exceptional customer service.

• Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately.

• Troubleshoot electrical, drivability, engine, and transmission issues.
• Work with service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in ongoing dealership training.

What You'll Do

As a Mainline Service Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• Diagnosing and repairing vehicles efficiently and accurately
• Performing maintenance and repair services to manufacturer standards
• Troubleshooting electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, suspension, and brake concerns
• Conducting inspections and identifying additional service opportunities
• Utilizing advanced diagnostic equipment and repair information systems
• Working closely with service advisors to deliver an exceptional customer experience
• Maintaining productivity while ensuring quality workmanship
• Participating in ongoing manufacturer and dealership training

What We're Looking For

• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Experience with domestic, import, or luxury brands welcome
• Kia experience preferred but not required
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Team-oriented attitude
• Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
