Job summary

Best Chevrolet in Kenner, LA is seeking an experienced Mainline Service Technician to join its growing Service Department. You will diagnose, repair, and service Chevrolet vehicles and other makes/models, while upholding quality workmanship and exceptional customer care.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, maintaining safety standards, documenting all work, and adhering to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with Chevrolet or GM vehicles preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and services on Chevrolet vehicles and other makes/models
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns
• Perform inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately according to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Accurately document all work performed
• Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
• Perform other duties as instructed by management

Qualifications

• Chevrolet or GM experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to use automotive diagnostic equipment and repair information systems
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• ASE certifications are a plus
