Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a skilled Mainline Operator for the Moses Lake Production Campus. You will operate equipment on the main processing line and perform upstream grading to meet production goals and customer specifications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a solid safety/attendance record, basic math skills, and the ability to read manuals and log entries. This is an on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Summary

This job is responsible for operating equipment in the main processing line and performing upstream grading functions to meet operational goals and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures alertness and constant awareness of the safe operation of moving equipment and other potential safety hazards in a production plant.
• Ensures necessary level of communication is maintained with the appropriate personnel.

Typical Education

High School graduate or GED

• Must have an acceptable safety record. Must have an acceptable attendance record
• Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication division and percent) to make proper adjustments and calibrations as required
• Must be able to read and understand operations manuals and make entries in daily logs, computers, and check sheets.
