IBM in the IBM Z Engineering System Test group invites you to join as a Mainframe System Verification Tester Apprentice. You will work on testing and qualification of IBM Z processors, storage, and semiconductor hardware, applying latest tools and technologies.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you will collaborate with experienced engineers and mentors in a lab or test floor environment to create and execute test or physical characterization plans that assess electrical performance against design

Qualifications

• No prior degree required; candidates are beginning their career and will learn on the job.
• Drive and eagerness to learn, ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and lab safety.

Responsabilités

• Create and execute test or physical characterization plans that assess electrical performance against design and requirements.
• Learn and apply state-of-the-art tools to test, manipulate and inspect product chips.
• Collaborate with engineers and mentors in a lab or test floor environment.
