Job summary

CEI in Columbia, SC seeks a Mainframe Support Analyst to provide day-to-day support for development teams using mainframe tools, troubleshoot issues, and assist with code promotion and deployment.

You will work on modernization initiatives to improve productivity and partner with customers on process improvements. Strong JCL, DB2/SQL/IMS, and security reporting skills are required, with a degree or equivalent experience expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with mainframe tools and security reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Mainframe Support Analyst

Location: Columbia, SC

Contract: W2 only, 6 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI

Pay: $45-$50 /hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match

Overview

Provide day-to-day support for application development teams utilizing mainframe development tools and utilities. Assist developers with troubleshooting development, testing, and implementation issues. Support code promotion, testing, and deployment activities. Partner with customers to identify process improvements and development efficiencies. Participate in modernization initiatives focused on improving developer productivity.

• Provide day-to-day support for application development teams utilizing mainframe development tools and utilities.
• Assist developers with troubleshooting development, testing, and implementation issues.
• Support code promotion, testing, and deployment activities.
• Partner with customers to identify process improvements and development efficiencies.
