DSN is seeking a MAINFRAME STORAGE ENGINEER with proven expertise in DASD Z/OS and tape storage. The role emphasizes disaster recovery, SMP/E, data replication, and ongoing maintenance of the mainframe storage environment.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong customer service skills and experience in installation, upgrading, and maintaining storage systems. Location options include Raleigh/Durham, NC or Washington, DC, with a client-focused responsibilities trail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mainframe systems programmer with storage concentration.
• Strong customer service skills mandatory for internal/external customers.
• Experience with installation, upgrading and maintenance of mainframe storage environments.

Responsibilities

• Support DASD Z/OS and tape storage.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery activities.
• Utilize SMP/E for software installation and maintenance.
• Install, upgrade and maintain mainframe storage environments.
• Ensure data replication for storage integrity.
• Provide strong customer service to clients and internal teams.
