Job summary

enGen is seeking a Mainframe Storage Administrator to join the IT Mainframe Storage Management Team. You will learn and assist in researching, evaluating, designing, developing and implementing mainframe infrastructure systems aligned with organizational strategies.

Responsibilities include day-to-day storage operations, ensuring compliance with standards, participating in weekly on-call rotation, and collaborating with IT, product, analytics and business teams to deliver reliable technical

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience performing analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of technical solutions.
• 3 years of technical problem solving and cross-team collaboration experience.
• 3 years of knowledge of computer science concepts, operating systems and development languages/scripting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, test and implement technical solutions with production monitoring and support.
• Collaborate with IT, product analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Monitor work against production schedule and report issues to leadership.
• Document technical processes and procedures and participate in technical reviews.
• Ensure solution alignment with enterprise goals and standards with architecture teams.
• Provide technical insights to support decision-making across departments.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant technologies and industry best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
