Job summary

Fujitsu Limited is seeking a software developer to advance components of the BS2000 mainframe operating system and support the full lifecycle from specification to testing and maintenance.

You will design IT architectures based on customer requirements and work in large, international teams. You will also help create technical documentation and provide support to service and sales colleagues.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science) or comparable qualification.
• Experience in software development with Assembler, C/C++, and scripting languages, plus system debugging.
• Experience with software development lifecycle, including source code management and CI.
• Strong analytical, flexible, creative, and customer-/service-oriented mindset.
• Fluent German and good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop key operating system components of BS2000 mainframe OS and support lifecycle from specification to maintenance.
• Contribute to design of IT architectures based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with international strategic partners in large development teams.
• Create technical documentation and user manuals content.
• Provide technical support to service and sales colleagues, including back-level maintenance and troubleshooting.
