Job summary

ARCHER in Jersey City seeks a senior leader to drive mainframe operations, modernization, and platform delivery. You will guide teams, optimize lifecycle processes, and partner with technology and business peers to deliver high-impact programs.

You will design strategy, oversee budgets, and ensure governance across complex environments. You will coach managers and engineers, manage multi-year projects, and push automation and innovation to raise reliability and efficiency across enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 10+ years of diverse IT experience.
• Direct mainframe experience.
• Ability to lead technical teams and complex programs.
• Mainframe infrastructure or systems expertise.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Advanced certifications preferred.

Job description

Lead teams administering mainframe environments and oversee hardware and software lifecycle delivery, platform modernization, and continuous improvement through innovation and automation. Partner across technology and business functions, lead complex projects, and coach managers and team members to deliver successful outcomes.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, at least 10 years of diverse IT experience, direct mainframe experience, and the ability to lead technical teams and complex programs. Candidates should bring mainframe infrastructure or systems expertise, strong communication and analytical skills, and knowledge of relevant mainframe technologies; advanced certifications are preferred.
