Are you an experienced Mainframe Developer looking to make an impact with a forward-thinking organization? We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled mainframe professional to join our team and help drive enhancements to critical applications that directly influence the client experience.
You’ll work closely with both technical and business teams to understand current functionality, define requirements for improvements, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet our rigorous standards.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Pay: $55 - $60/hr W2
Responsibilities:
Enhance and support existing mainframe applications to deliver new business value
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Conduct full-cycle testing: unit, integration, regression, performance, and UAT
Maintain code quality and ensure application performance and scalability
Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain documentation using Jira
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience Requirements:
6+ years of experience in mainframe development with COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2
Proven experience in full testing lifecycle, including UAT and performance testing
Strong knowledge of Agile development methodology
Familiarity with Jira and related Agile tools
Bonus: Knowledge of SnapLogic, Snowflake, and AWS
Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and work independently or collaboratively
Passion for continuous improvement and delivering business value
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
