Job summary

FastTek Global in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Mainframe Operator to serve as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical IT incidents. You will quickly create, triage and track incidents while coordinating with IT staff, customers and vendors.

You will monitor mainframe control consoles, assess system performance and assist with reviewing mainframe JCL. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Level 1 Incident Manager for critical IT incidents.
• Strong communication with IT staff, customers and vendors.
• Knowledge of mainframe job control language (JCL) review and validation.
