We are currently seeking a Mainframe Developer (FTE / Onsite) to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Developing and maintaining JCL scripts to manage batch processing and job scheduling.
2. Writing, testing, and debugging COBOL programs and reports using established coding standards and best practices.
3. Creating and executing test plans to ensure application functionality and quality.
4. Participating in code reviews and design of technical solutions.
5. Participate in Daily Standups and Agile processing.
6. Collaborating with business analysts and project managers to enhance the system and reporting for end users.
7. Designing, developing, and maintaining DB2 databases to support application data needs.
8. Troubleshooting and resolving application issues in a timely and efficient manner.
9. Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:

1. 8+ years’ experience analyzing system requests, performing system development and support for mainframe-based applications.
2. 5+ years' experience in CICS, COBOL, JCL.

Travel: This position is 100% onsite at the client location.

Degree: Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent work experience.
