Job Description:

Previous work in banking, finance, insurance, or similar domains is preferred.

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and related technologies. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and IT teams to design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications critical to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and implement mainframe application solutions using COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain programs in compliance with project requirements.
• Interact with stakeholders to gather and refine business and technical requirements.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.
• Strong understanding of JCL, TSO/ISPF, and mainframe tools.
• Experience with debugging tools like XPEDITER and Abend-AID.
• Ability to analyze and optimize existing code and processes.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
