We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM to support the development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support of enterprise mainframe applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both online and batch JCL, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality, zero-defect solutions. This role also requires the ability to conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and work effectively in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
• Work extensively on both online and batch processing systems.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
• Perform unit testing, support system testing, resolve defects, and provide production support.
• Troubleshoot application and database issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.
