The ideal candidate will have a strong background in COBOL, CICS, MQ-Series, VSAM, and related tools, and will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and designing programs and utilities to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and utilities within the IBM VSE/ESA environment.
• Design and implement new programs and batch processes to support financial operations.
• Analyze and troubleshoot existing code and batch processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data management and processing using VSAM and related database structures.
• Utilize MQ-Series and CICS to support messaging, transaction, and batch processing.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and quality assurance processes.

Required Skills and Technology:

• IBM VSE/ESA platform knowledge (DOS-based mainframe systems)
