We are currently seeking a Mainframe Developer to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota (US-MN), United States (US).

Role Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

- Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications that support critical business processes using COBOL, JCL and DB2.

- Collaborating with business analysts and project managers to enhance the system and reporting for end users.

- Writing, testing, and debugging COBOL programs and reports using established coding standards and best practices

- Develop and maintain JCL scripts to manage batch processing and job scheduling
- Design, develop, and maintain DB2 databases to support application data needs
- Creating and executing test plans to ensure application functionality and quality
- Participating in code reviews and design of technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely and efficient manner

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years’ experience analyzing system requests, performing system development and support for mainframe-based applications.
- COBOL, JCL and DB2
- TCO, IBM DFSORT, Endevour, SD/SF, Savrs, NDM, File Manager

Nice to Have:

- Banking domain with Hogan

- CA7, Easytrive. MQ, ServiceNow

Education:

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science or applicable experience
