Job summary

Diverse Lynx LLC is seeking an Application Developer with strong mainframe skills to design, code, test, and debug using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and related technologies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver aligned software solutions and promptly resolve issues.

Required experience with mainframes (CICS, VSAM, COBOL) and AWS database options; familiarity with batch processing and JCL is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience with mainframe technologies and related tooling.
• Ability to design, code, test and debug mainframe solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS database services and NoSQL options is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Programming, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions are aligned with business objectives
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner
• Conduct Code Reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and follow best practices
• Ability to work Consultantly and in a team environment.

Job description

Pay Range - $60 - $65/hr.

ROLE_DESCRIPTION -

Application development experience in Design, coding, testing and debugging with mainframe skills such as CICS, VSAM, COBOL, DB2, JCL, AWS database(Postgress, Dynamo DB)

• Programming, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software solutions are aligned with business objectives
