Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with hands-on COBOL, JCL, DB2 and CICS skills to design, maintain, and optimize enterprise mainframe applications. You will develop COBOL programs, create JCL for batch jobs, query DB2 with SQL, work with VSAM, and support production environments.

Collaboration with analysts and QA will be essential to deliver reliable solutions.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IBM Mainframe technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, enhancing, and supporting enterprise-level mainframe applications.

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications.

Write, modify, and optimize COBOL programs.

Develop and execute JCL jobs for batch processing.

Work with DB2 databases, SQL queries, and VSAM files.

Develop and maintain online applications using CICS.

Perform application enhancements and production support.
