Job summary

Largeton Group is seeking a DB2 z/OS Database Administrator to join our mainframe team in the United States. The role focuses on hands-on administration of DB2 databases on IBM z/OS, including installations, migrations, and performance tuning for critical enterprise workloads.

You will ensure data backup and recovery, support high-availability infrastructures, and collaborate with application teams to maintain stable, highly available database services across the organization.

Qualifications

• Hands-on administration of DB2 databases on IBM z/OS.
• Migrate and release databases in production environments.
• Perform runstats and reorgs for performance optimization.
• Ensure backup, recovery and data availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on administration and support for DB2 databases on IBM z/OS (version 12 or higher).
